Firstly, the Corabia Foundation seeks to provide practical resources and skilled personnel to work with the children and young people of Sardu.

At the present moment the project has trained three villagers to run and develop the Christian programmes for the children and young people of the village. As the work continues to grow we hope to develop the work of the foundation to include projects which can function:

Educationally – through various classes relating to present needs such as.Recreationally – through hobbies, crafts, games and sports.Vocationally – through the teaching of practical skills.

Secondly, the foundation aims to bring much needed items of aid which are either difficult to find, or too expensive for villagers to afford, e.g. wheelchairs, toys, children’s clothing etc. Last Christmas 500 shoeboxes full of gifts for the children were distributed throught the six villages surrounding Casa Sperantei. The same will happen again this year.

Thirdly, to take teams of people from the UK for shorter and longer periods. These teams will:

Help with the programmes of Casa Sperantei, providing specialised skills as required.Engage in Christian ministry in cooperation with local churches and Christian agencies.Undertake personal development and recreational activities, such as outward bound, team building and leadership training.
