Material

All kinds of materials are needed to run the project. For example: sports equipment, games, toys, books, computer programmes and stationary. Please contact Gateway Christian Centre to discuss any contribution you may be able to make.

Financial

The project relies entirely on donations for its support. Money is needed to complete various building projects, and to pay the on going running cost of the project. If you feel you can make a donation to the project, then donations should be sent to Gateway Christian Centre, marked for ‘House of Hope’.

Practical

People with practical skills such as: qualified TESOL / TEFL teachers, care workers, children and youth workers, builders etc. Whether it is for shorter or longer periods of time volunteers are very welcome to enquire about what programmes exist or could be established for the benefit of the surrounding community.

Urgent Need

This is a very demanding time in the life of the Mission, and the building of a new family centre on land adjacent to Casa Sperantei is using up all the reserves of cash we presently have. (The pictures below show the external progress of the building as it stands, but there is still a long way to go.)

I know from experience that requests for donations come thick and fast. However, if you have ever thought of giving to the work, now is the time to do it. The goal is to have the centre complete before winter.
